Fire Data
This is fire and weather stuff. Some of this is in machine-readable format so it could be added to the IR-GIS ® product suite - so I am writing up designs in the internal wiki. Things such as conversion of geo-rss to events, with heat-mapping, and now I see the data, feature layers sources from rss feeds containing polygons, though the real-time aspect is pretty poor when you look at the formats. Things to look at are:
- extensions to ir-xml to handle near-real-time coverages
- extensions to provide real-time layers in our mapping servers
